Get Involved

Be part of the promise to every Minnesota kid. We need your leadership and engagement.

Strong public schools do not happen on their own. They are built through the shared effort of educators, families, and communities working together.

Minnesota Kids Rise exists to provide clear, balanced information about public schools. That work grows stronger when trusted community members help share what is happening in their local schools.

Whether you are looking to stay informed, share your perspective, or support your community, there are meaningful ways to be part of this effort.

Why You Matter

Whether you are a school board member, business leader, parent, educator, student, or community advocate, your voice matters. People trust information that comes from someone they know. When local voices share clear, grounded perspectives, it helps others better understand what is happening in their schools and communities.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Strengthen public confidence in your local schools
  • Share concrete examples of what’s working
  • Help families feel informed and not overwhelmed
  • Reinforce that kids thriving is our shared priority

When respected leaders speak with clarity and balance, communities listen.

Ways to Support Minnesota Kids Rise

Minnesota Kids Rise will continue expanding throughout the summer and fall with new opportunities for schools, families, community members, and partners to participate and support the initiative statewide.

  • Join Us at the Minnesota State Fair
Minnesota Kids Rise will officially launch publicly at the Minnesota State Fair in September with a statewide activation focused on celebrating and supporting Minnesota public schools.
  • Support Future Growth
As the initiative expands, additional ways to support the work; including partnerships, volunteer opportunities, community participation, and donations, will be shared throughout the year.
  • Stay Connected
New stories, resources, and opportunities to get involved will continue to be added as Minnesota Kids Rise grows across the state.
